Submission Guidelines

The Buddha Journal of Social Science and Technology (BJSST)

1. General Information

  • The Buddha Journal of Social Science and Technology welcomes original, unpublished research articles, reviews, and conceptual papers that explore the intersections of technology, society, and interdisciplinary fields such as social sciences, humanities, policy, and governance.
  • All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and relevance of published work.

2. Manuscript Types

  • Research Articles: Original empirical research or theoretical studies related to technology and its societal impact.
  • Review Articles: Comprehensive surveys of current research in the field of technology and social science.
  • Conceptual Papers: Papers presenting new ideas, frameworks, or methodologies that advance the understanding of the role of technology in society.
  • Policy and Practice Papers: Articles that explore practical solutions or policy recommendations related to technology and social equity.

3. Manuscript Formatting

Manuscripts must be submitted in the following format:

4. Figures and Tables

  • Figures and tables should be numbered consecutively and placed at the end of the manuscript (not in the text body).
  • Each figure/table should have a clear title and description.
  • Images should be in high resolution (300 DPI for colour images and 600 DPI for black-and-white images).

5. Ethical Considerations

  • Authors must ensure that their research adheres to ethical standards and guidelines.
  • All studies involving human participants or animals must include a statement of ethical approval from the relevant ethics committee.
  • Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest and funding sources.
